Last Sunday after Pentecost
When you shall see the abomination of desolation... in the Holy Place... flee to the mountains (Mt. 24.15,16, from today's Holy Gospel, the last Sunday after Pentecost): I will take away from them their Strength, and the Joy of their glory, and the Desire of their eyes, upon which their souls rest (Ezech. 24.25).
Pope Pius XII, when he was still Cardinal Pacelli on the abomination of desolation : "I am worried by the Blessed Virgin's messages to Lucia of Fatima... This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in her Liturgy.... I hear all around me innovators... who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel..... A day will come... when In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp [at the Sanctuary, indicating the Real Presence of Our Lord in the tabernacle] where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, Where have they taken Him." - See more @ Ignis Dei
